Who we are:

Steps can do more than we think: they influence how we feel, move and live. That's why we make shoes that are as minimal as possible and give our feet back their natural freedom. Because we are actually made for walking barefoot. What began in 2015 with the search for suitable children's shoes became a mission: as few shoes as possible, as many as necessary. Made from natural materials and under fair conditions - for a holistic, free walking experience. The steps we take in our shoes bring us a little closer to ourselves and let us feel what we and our feet are made for. Conscious movements, the fascination of nature, the power of the moment - Wilding our lives with every step.

You as a part of Wildling Shoes:

As a working student in CRM & Email Marketing, you’ll support our CRM team in engaging with Wildling’s customers throughout the entire customer journey in a way that’s relevant and consistent with our brand.
Your focus will be on the operational implementation in Klaviyo: you’ll create newsletters and campaigns, help further develop our automated flows, and assist us in continuously testing and improving our CRM communications.
You’ll work closely with the CRM, Creative, E-commerce and Analytics teams and will quickly have the opportunity to take charge of your own projects and campaigns.

Tasks to expect:

  • You will create and prepare newsletters and CRM campaigns in Klaviyo for dispatch – from implementing the content to setting up links, segments and dispatch logic.
  • You will assist with the creation, maintenance and optimisation of our automated CRM flows, e.g. welcome, post-purchase, win-back or other lifecycle journeys.
  • Through careful testing and QA, you ensure that content, links, personalisation and layouts function correctly across different devices.
  • You assist with segmentation and target audience selection, helping to deliver the right communication to the right customers.
  • You prepare A/B tests for subject lines, content, send times or CRM mechanics and assist with their evaluation.
  • You analyse key CRM KPIs and produce regular reports and ad hoc analyses of our campaigns and flows.
  • You help us to continuously develop existing newsletters and automations and contribute your own ideas for content, personalisation and lifecycle communication.
  • You’ll help maintain templates, segments and CRM data, and work with the team to ensure a clean Klaviyo structure.
  • You’ll work closely with our CRM team, as well as the Creative, E-commerce and Analytics teams, and support seasonal campaigns, product launches and other relevant CRM initiatives.

We would like you to:

  • You are enrolled at a university or college, for example studying Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Communication Studies, Media Studies or a similar degree programme.
  • Ideally, you have already gained some practical experience in email marketing, CRM, e-commerce or online marketing.
  • Some experience with Klaviyo or a similar email/marketing automation platform is a big plus.
  • You enjoy not only implementing digital campaigns but also understanding what works and why.
  • You’re not put off by figures and KPIs – you enjoy analysing performance data and drawing initial insights from it.
  • You have a good feel for copywriting, design and brand communication, whilst maintaining very high standards of accuracy.
  • You work in a structured, reliable and independent manner, and can keep track of things even when managing several campaigns simultaneously.
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
  • Experience with Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, A/B testing or e-commerce data is a plus, but not a requirement.

That's how we work and this is what you can expect:

How we work:
